Renovation of Parliament House Annexe Canteen

                                                                                  


        Membersare informed that the CPWD has undertaken the renovation work of ParliamentHouse Annexe Catering Unit w.e.f. 20.03.2017. The catering services from theexisting Parliament House Annexe Canteen shall remain suspended during therenovation period. However, during this interim period arrangements for limitedcatering services – tea, snacks, dal, rice, etc. will be made in Private DiningRoom, Parliament House Annexe.

                Kindcooperation of Members is solicited.

Avoiding Disturbance in the sound system

                                             


Ithas been observed that some Hon. Members do not turn off the volume knob oftheir earphones while leaving their seats, which causes disturbance in thesound system in the House.  Hon. Membersare, therefore, requested to turn the knob to the left while leaving theirseats.

        Members are reminded that Speaker'sResearch Initiative (SRI) will beorganizing a Workshop on SustainableDevelopment Goals (SDGs) pertaining to Health Sector on 27th March,2017 from 1600 hours onwards in BPST Main Lecture Hall, First Floor, ParliamentLibrary Building, New Delhi. Following experts will act as resourcepersons for the Workshop:

    (ii)           Dr. A. K. Panda, Additional Secretary& Mission Director, National Health Mission, M/o   Health and Family Welfare

    2.     Members are also informed that a Workshopon Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be organised under the auspices ofSRI on 28th March, 2017 from 1700 hours onwards in BPST Main LectureHall, First Floor, Parliament Library Building, New Delhi.

    3.     The Workshops will be chaired by Hon'ble Speaker.

The publication wasreleased by the Hon’ble Vice-President of India and Chairman, Rajya Sabha on 21March 2017 in the Main Committee Room, Parliament House Annexe, New Delhi.
